Empowering Women of Nepal

Empowering Women of Nepal (EWN) and 3 Sisters Adventure Trekking successfully conducted a 10-day Advanced Rock Climbing Training during the occasion of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. This empowering program brought together 8 female participants, creating a safe, focused, and supportive environment to strengthen women’s confidence, technical climbing skills, courage, and leadership through adventure.

The training was generously supported by the Global Climbing Initiative (GCI), whose continued sponsorship plays a vital role in advancing women’s empowerment through outdoor education and leadership development.

The program began with an inspiring orientation session, where our Founder, Ms. Lucky Karki Chhetri, shared a heartfelt message on the importance of courage, self-belief, and stepping beyond comfort zones for women in Nepal. She emphasized that rock climbing is more than a sport—it is a powerful symbol of strength, resilience, and breaking barriers.

The journey concluded with the Closing Ceremony held on December 19, where certificates were awarded to participants who successfully completed the training, recognizing their dedication, perseverance, and newly developed technical expertise. The presence of community members, EWN representatives, and the 3 Sisters Adventure Trekking team added great meaning to the celebration.

📸 Glimpses from the training reflect the determination, unity, and passion of the participants as they challenged limits and climbed higher together.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the Global Climbing Initiative (GCI), along with our committed instructors, facilitators, and courageous participants, for making this training a true success.

Together, we rise—stronger with every climb. 💪🧗‍♀️
