Empowering Women of Nepal

With the arrival of Shrawan 1, Nepal welcomes one of its most cherished festival seasons. This special time of year is traditionally celebrated by women through the beautiful art of mehendi (henna), symbolizing joy, prosperity, love, and new beginnings.

To celebrate this meaningful occasion, Empowering Women of Nepal (EWN)—an organization run by women, for women—organized a joyful Shrawan Celebration for our board members, employees, trekking guides, assistant guides from 3 Sisters Adventure Trekking, and the dedicated team members of 3 Sisters Guest House.

The celebration provided an opportunity for everyone to come together, enjoy traditional mehendi, share festive moments, and strengthen the bonds of friendship and teamwork. It was a wonderful occasion to honor Nepal’s rich cultural heritage while fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace where women are empowered and celebrated.

At 3 Sisters Adventure Trekking and Empowering Women of Nepal, we believe that preserving cultural traditions and creating opportunities for connection are just as important as empowering women through education, employment, and leadership.

Celebrating culture, sisterhood, and togetherness—today and every day.
