We are delighted to share the successful completion of our GOAL (Girls’ Leadership) Camp at Gauri Shankar Secondary School, Hemja!
The journey began with an exciting orientation led by Dicky Karki Chhetri, Founder & President of Empowering Women of Nepal (EWN), who introduced the girls to the goals, activities and spirit of the camp.
Throughout the camp, the girls participated in leadership sessions, interactive games, sports and extracurricular activities, creating a safe and inspiring space to learn, share, build confidence and develop new skills. The distribution of dresses and sports materials added to the excitement and encouraged the participants to actively engage in the activities.
From the first day’s enthusiasm to the confidence demonstrated at the closing ceremony, the transformation was truly inspiring. The girls learned not only to play and participate, but also to communicate, cooperate, take initiative and believe in their own potential.
The Closing Ceremony was a beautiful celebration of their journey, filled with joy, confidence, memories and smiles. Their energy and enthusiasm made every moment of the camp meaningful and memorable.
