Empowering Women of Nepal

Every year on World Environment Day, 3 Sisters Adventure Trekking with Empowering Women of Nepal organizes a clean-up campaign around the beautiful Phewa Lake in Pokhara. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to environmental conservation and responsible tourism.

During each clean-up, we consistently find that plastic waste and cigarette butts make up the largest portion of the litter collected. These common forms of pollution not only spoil the natural beauty of the lake but also pose serious threats to wildlife, water quality, and the surrounding ecosystem.

This annual activity serves as an important reminder that small individual actions can create a significant positive impact. By reducing our use of single-use plastics, disposing of waste responsibly, and avoiding littering, we can all contribute to protecting our environment.

3 Sisters Adventure Trekking-Empowering Women of Nepal, we believe that preserving Nepal’s natural heritage is a shared responsibility. Through initiatives like this, we encourage our team, guests, and local communities to adopt sustainable practices and work together to keep our lakes, trails, and natural surroundings clean for future generations.

Together, let’s protect nature—one small action at a time.
